Deed Scam Alert!

Residents are advised that they may receive official looking mailings from companies offering to obtain a copy of their deed for an inflated cost. Should you need a copy of your deed, one can easily be obtained from the Nassau County Clerk’s office. You may request a copy in person or by mail. The Nassau County Clerk’s Office is located at 240 Old Country Road, Mineola, New York, 11501. Cost of a certified copy of your deed is $5.00 in person or $10.00 by mail.

NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village of Malverne Finalized Assessment Rolls for fiscal year June 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013 will be available for inspection at the Malverne Village Hall, 99 Church Street, Malverne, NY during regular business hours starting April 2, 2012.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with New York State Real Property Tax Law Section 1408(2), complaints on real property assessment for the fiscal year starting June 1, 2012 will be accepted by the Inc. Village of Malverne, 99 Church Street, Malverne, NY 11565 between February 1, 2012 and February 21, 2012 during regular business hours. On Grievance Day, February 21, 2012 the Assessor will also be available between the hours of 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM to receive complaints on real property assessments.
